Natural Cures

With all the talk about "natural cures" that abounds today, I would like to add my name as a true believer. I have survived cancer myself, and traditional medicine & chemotherapy were not used. I am a firm believer in the "power of the mind" and faith as well. With natural cures being used (very successfully by the way) for everything from acne to cancer to yeast infections,it is no wonder that a large percentage of young people today say they would much rather use "natural remedies" than traditional medicine. Natural health products are the wave of the future, but many people don't know they have also been a big part of our past. Did you know that even aspirin was derived from a plant called meadowsweet.and that most of the drugs we use today were taken from plants or herbs and have been used for centuries by the Native American people, Chinese,& Egyptians, just to name a few. Many people are using "natural" supplements, herbal remedies & alternative treatments like: Acupuncture, Chiropractic, Naturopathy even Aromatherapy to cure
illness and disease.

Even our pets are getting into the act with "natural cat and dog food free of harmful additives and chemicals.Since the pet food poisonings in 2007, I have been much more careful about what I feed my cats and so have most of my friends.There are also many veterinarians now who use alternative treatments and medicines. Yes, the time has come for Natural Cures, and I for one am thrilled with the prospects of a healthier, happier population and a safer, purer environment. |
